Very impressively proportioned tapestry wall hanging c.1900. Measuring over 13 feet in length and 7 feet tall. A traditional verdure forest scene free of figures or animals but with lovely detail to the foliage and a good sense of depth. Densely patterned border of leaves and flowers. Perfect for adding antique character to a room, the tapestry is obviously aged and faded in places and with some damage to the edges.
