A lovely large mahogany glass display cabinet. We date this cabinet to the late 19th century.

The cabinet consists of two sections, the top section has three glazed doors and three adjustable glass shelves. The shelves sit on metal brackets. There are glazed sides to the cabinet and a mirror to the rear of the cabinet. The doors are fitted with handles that turn to operate the catches.

The base stand is supported on four square section legs with an under shelf. The base section has been added at some later point in the cabinet’s lifetime.

The cabinet has an overall height of 72.5" (184cm), a width of 72.5" (184cm) and a depth of 14" (46cm) at its deepest.

The internal measurements of the top display unit are 30” (76cm) in height and 9” (23cm) deep.

This lovely display cabinet remains in very good solid condition with minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage including some marks and indentations around the frame. The inside of the cabinet base shows some wear and a couple of large ring marks from past use. The base has been later added at some time in the past and has quite a bit of wear including indentations and scratches primarily to some edges and the shelf area.

This remains a very stylish and elegant glass display cabinet which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
