This is a very attractive Victorian period overmantel or floor standing mirror of grand scale. The imposing mirror has a handsome scallop crest with beautiful scrolling acanthus detail to all four corners. The gilding is all original and the scrolls and gesso detail are all intact and undamaged. The mirror glass is the original bevelled Victorian 3/8" plate glass which is in outstanding clean condition.
The overmantel mirror has good proportions measuring 166 cm high by 108 cm wide.
A really nice original example in super order.
