Large Wine Cabinet With 98 Drawers
Large wine cabinet. An extremely useful piece of classic English office antique furniture. This large, index filing system, since the use of computers became so popular, has been made redundant.
We believe that this piece will make a fantastic collection cabinet for bottles of wine each drawer will take a single bottle of wine, and slopes from front to back which allows the corks to remain moist. The drawers within this large wine cabinet have a locking mechanism so that they cannot be pulled out too far, preventing damage to the wine in any way. Each drawer also has an adjustable stop mechanism which could be used for different heights of wine bottles.
As you can see by the many photographs that we have supplied, all drawers are made of solid oak, dove tailed, and screwed craftsmanship like this is very hard to come by nowadays.
This large wine cabinet is in lovely condition for its age circa late 1930s, and still retains all of its brass handles and card holders. Please be aware that this large wine cabinet is extremely heavy, and we have fitted small substantial castors to the base for ease of movement.
