Fine example of a late 17th.c. oak six plank chest or sword chest c.1680. Solid oak throughout, with the original lock plate and later hinges. Of good length and sturdy so could make an ideal window seat perhaps with the advantage of having good storage. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
