A handsome pot bellied wet drug jar, probably Italian late 18th century. My Latin, if that's what is used, is non existent I fear so I cannot be of service on that score. It does seem that the foot on these jars suffer a terrible attrition rate, presumably returned to their place on the shelf in haste. Turned the other way it's not so noticeable.
