Original quality late 19th century wall mounted cast iron harness room saddle rack.This example has hardwood mounts with much of the original finish. Just about still legibly the underside of the casting for the maker "Musgrave of Belfast".The back plate measures 12.75inches x 9.5inches front to back and has four screws for mounting.These racks were supplied to the top stable yards of the best properties.Length measures - 20inches. Overall historic pitting to the iron but will outlast all of us and our descendants.
