Handsome late 19th.c. upholstered armchair c.1890. Simple design with a flat top backrest and narrow arms over a large sprung seat. Good turned front legs, the rear ones swept backwards for stability, both in solid mahogany and raised on brown ceramic castors. Stamped with serial numbers on one of the rear legs. Recently upholstered in a red and gold patterned chenille. Very good condition with clean covers.
