Late 19thc Highly Decorative Solid Satinwood Uphol
The arm supports are carved gilt wood with a flower & foliage design.
The seat back and also the shaped drop in seat are both upholstered in a very good quality Chinoiserie design silk fabric of rich green and gold colours.
The seat is supported by a solid satinwood seat rail decorated with gilt metal designs.
The front legs are of a scroll design with pateras & ormolu decoration of excellent quality on the knee, leading to a gilt metal lion paw foot. The back legs are of a splayed moulded design.
This piece is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
