Good quality late 19th.c. oak and leather settle or hall seat c.1890. Solid oak frame topped with a lovely pair of carved lion’s masks. Original leather upholstery to the backrest and seat with large brass studs to the edges. Straight arms on crisp turned front supports. Reeded rails below the seat, raised on six turned and block legs joined with matching H stretchers. Some old wear to the leather, otherwise excellent condition with particularly good colour and patina. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
