A superb late 19thc serpentine vitrine cabinet. Serpentine glass, gesso over carved wood, parcel gilt with cream background. Within the cabinet a mirrored back with purple velvet lining, one mirrored shelf and two glass ones. The door of the cabinet shows a caged bird with another opening the cage whilst a fox looks on. The cabinet is probably French or Italian
