Leather & Nickel Drum Perpetual Calendar c. 1910

I have never come across one of these before and I doubt I ever will again.
Quite wonderful, this novelty desk-top novelty perpetual calendar is in the form of a drum covered in leather with nickel on brass fittings. The leather around the sides is two tones, faded to the top from natural light, the underside retaining the original colouring.
The keys to the side are all in working order, moving the day, date and month both forward and backwards.
A truly wonderful piece in good condition with wear commensurate with age. The drum has a diameter measuring 4" spanning 5 1/4" across including the keys to the sides x 3" deep x 5 1/2" tall. English in origin and dating to the early twentieth century c.1910 / 1920.
