We are offering this very pretty Limoges Porcelain Table Lamp and new shade from the makers of the Downton Abbey, Mr. Selfridge etc., TV series lampshades.

The base is marked on the base in French, 'Decorated by hand in the Paris style Limoges France'. Unfortunately, we have been unable to date this mark. The porcelain base is vase shaped and has been hand painted in Turquoise and Gold and is in one piece, with an ornate gilt cap and the square foot is on a stepped mahogany base.

The shade is in the 'Ballerina' style and had a Turquoise silk crown, Gold silk brocade body, with cream fringe overlaid with white and gold beads, finished with gold braid.

The lamp has been completely rewired with antique gold coloured fabric covered wire and has all new fittings, including safer switched lampholder, new plus and shade carrier. As with all electrical items, it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.

Height to top of shade: 23" - 58.4cm

Diameter of shade: 13" - 33cm

Base: 4" - 10cm square

Condition: The porcelain lamp is in immaculate condition with no chips, cracks or damage. The shade is new.
