Fantastic Victorian mahogany Literary machine by John Carter in excellent condition with only marks etc in line with age and use. This is a book or music stand combined with a small table designed to stand beside a chair or bed and fully adjusts for your comfort. The book holder with brass page stays sits on an articulated arm which can be further adjusted with a lockable ball and socket joint below. Its small wine table sits on a telescopic column which allows you to adjust its height and sits on a heavy iron cast base for stability with four claw feet. A fabulous item that if not used for books or music sheets can be used to view your tablet or phone.
