A fine quality set of 6 mid-Victorian period mahogany dining chairs by the eminent cabinet makers Hendersons of Rathbone Place, London. They are of generous proportions and of excellent construction in solid Cuban mahogany with balloon backs and cabriole front legs which terminate in their original brass and ceramic castors. With over-stuffed seats in sumptuous deep button red leather (possibly their original coverings) which are very comfortable and have a lovely "lived-in" look. Offered for sale in excellent original condition, strong and sturdy with a great colour and patina.
