Long Oak Church Bench Top
A very long Victorian solid oak church bench seat or pew. With nice figuring and medium brown colour,original polish, some tiny paint splatters. The underside shows the shape of the supports. It has one straight edge and one rounded edge.
It measures 97" long x 18 1/2" wide x 1 3/16" thick, ( or 2 metres 46cm long x 47 cm wide x 3 cm thick ).
This is very substantial and has a comfortable curved edge all along. The width is measured up to the rebate. This probably lined the walls of the church as there is no back, and had a wood or metal support.
This could also be used as a substantial worktop or table top, or outdoor garden bench.
