This attractive wardrobe dates from around the 1920s and is very much in the art deco style. It is of lovely quality, with beautiful walnut veneers. The wardrobe has single bow-fronted door with a decorative brass handle, which opens to reveal a hanging section with front to back hanging rails at either side with two hooks at the back and a shelf above. The inside of the door has a mirror attached. The piece has carved shoulders and a lovely stepped design and is supported on short cabriole legs.

Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall a little faded. The mirror has some corrosion. There are some signs of old repair in places, and the hanging hooks at the back of the wardrobe section may be later additions. There is an area of veneer loss to the inside at the top. No keys are present for the piece. The metalwork has some surface corrosion.
