Quality 16th.c. style low carved oak box or stool probably by the English makers Rackstraw of Worcester c.1930. Solid oak throughout, with good carved frieze, shaped detail to the foot and an oversized lid to make a useful seat or coffee table. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
