A charming Machin bone china coffee can c.1810-1815, pattern 224 with an Adam Buck type scene of a mother playing with her child in the nursery, bat printed and over hand coloured. Gilt rim and band inside the rim and delicate gilt decoration down the fine ring handle. Marked with pattern number 224 in purple enamel.

Reference: Staffordshire Porcelain by Godden, plates 325 and 318.

It measures 6cm (2 3/8") high and 6.6cm (2 9/16") rim to rim.

Condition is good with no damage or repair. Some minor flaked losses to the enamel of the mother's cape and very minor wear to the gilt rim. Very slight discolouration to the base. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
