Magnificent Georgian Country House Sycamore Table
Magnificent Georgian Country House Sycamore Prep Table
This is a superb example of an English country house, Georgian preparation table of very impressive scale.
A special antique table, very recently acquired from the kitchens of an important stately home in North Yorkshire, where it has spent it's life.
Provenance will be given to the buyer.
In such amazing, completely original condition, the top is fabulous, being four, hugely thick sycamore planks.
The table base has four large storage drawers down each side, all which sport turned, mahogany knob handles.
The preparation table base is made in pine, with six, slightly tapering square legs, each with a bracket to the frieze and is in the original Georgian paint finish.
In great, condition throughout, a Georgian country house preparation table that is simply the best out there.
Now in our showrooms where it forms part of our Christmas 101 antique gifts collection.
The sycamore boards are 7.5cm thick.
