Magnificent run of 5 large Victorian Cast Iron Urn
A superb run of 5 genuine early Victorian cast iron urns
They really are a very fine focal point
All urns are offered in good, as found condition showing wear as would be expected.
One has a very small piece missing from the rim.
I do have a spare piece of egg & dart rim that could be cut to shape and I could have welded in place but personally believe that it is not worth while!

Strong, sound, heavy & secure.
The urns do show different elements of wear and early, original paintwork.

Originally they would have been secured with a bolt joining the bowl and base together.
This as long since gone.
They now can be lifted in two sections and then sit together securely with their original castle section preventing any movement once in place.
Dimensions:
Height: 53 cm
Bowl diameter: 59 cm
Base: 33cm x 33cm
These will have been a fine, period statement no doubt within the grounds a grand house.
Whilst I did purchase them from a formidable stately home I suspect that they will have predated their most recent location.
