Mahogany and Inlay Timepiece Mantel Clock
A very good quality Edwardian period solid mahogany case mantel antique clock. It has a break arch top case, inlaid with boxwood stringing and satin wood shell inlay with brass lion mask handles.The dial has an enamel chapter ring, with an embossed centre and an embossed outer bezel with a bevel edge glass. The French 8 day timepiece (does not strike) movement has a lever platform escapement.
Current Condition
The case is in excellent original condition, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months.

18.00cm wide 22.00cm high 8.50cm deep (7.09 inches wide 8.66 inches high 3.35 inches deep) We have been established since 1978, dealing in and restoring most antiques, specialising in clocks and furniture. We have our own workshops where we carry out specialist restoration work.-
