A most handsome late Victorian / early Edwardian cocktail / serving tray, creates a great look for your drinks display paired together with other complimentary pieces.

Made from solid Mahogany and standing on four original bun feet. The tray has a silvered gallery running around the perimeter of the shaped tray and each side incorporating a turned Mahogany handle. The centre of the tray is mounted with a vacant mounted cartouche.

On one of the mounts below the handles, it is signed Sweeneys Bradford, A1, EPNS (Electro-Plated Nickel Silver) this is the signature for the silversmith, Jeweller, Edward Sweeney in Bradford, not just, once upon a time, the richest city in Yorkshire. It was one of the richest in the world, certainly in the country, and had the kind of influence most other cities could only dream of.

Dating to c.1900, it remains in excellent condition ready for use. Spans 22" handle to handle x 14" x 3" tall to top of handle.
