DESCRIPTION:
Here we have a beautiful, coloured Mahogany and Brass frame 20 drawer shop haberdashery display counter. The counter dates from approx. c 1930. And is superb quality and solid. The cabinets stands on block stepped legs which are the same all round which makes this very desirable as a kitchen island or piece of antique furniture as so many are now used for. The mahogany has mellowed to the most beautiful autumnal it’s a beautiful looking piece of furniture and having the polished brassed frame is just the icing on the cake. This would make a great feature both in a commercial or domestic setting and will lend itself to many uses. The counter has had a new laminated glass top fitted as the other was really scratched and cloudy, but all done so is already to be used and loved.

WORKSHOP REPORT:
The counter has had a new laminated glass top fitted and a good clean and polish. 3 of the drawers has had repairs to the very top edge just above the handles. There is slight bruising to the legs All the above is really insignificant really and does not in any way impair the beauty of the piece but it is only fair we tell all and be honest.
