Mahogany Desk. English C1860 English Mahogany pedestal %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Fine quality English Mahogany pedestal desk dated to C1860.

This delightful 3 sectional desk is beautifully proportioned and made with superb figured veneers, original button knob handles and a retaining gallery to keep everything in place! This is a good size desk for home or professional office with plenty of leg room and 150 years of age during which time it has been well looked after.

The drawers are solid with finely cut dovetails. They are deep drawers from front to back, and run smoothly, all having working locks with a key. This desk is in virtually original condition and retains the most desirable colour and mellow patina.
