Victorian Mahogany Gentleman’s Wardrobe from a Gentleman’s Outfitter Shop Display

This is a very unusual piece, a Victorian Mahogany Press which has Gold and Shadowed Lettering painted both on the Mahogany and on the the mercury glass mirrored door
The wardrobe has been painted for “ John Piggott, Gentlemans Outfitters” it is a tall and impressive piece, the door has an arched mirrored door and there is a deep drawer at the bottom.
Inside the press has 5 slides each one is painted with its intended contents.
The wardrobe has seen plenty of use over the years, it is sound but there is some foxing to the looking glass and there general scuffing of the finish, but it is a very attractive piece
The Wardrobe would an ideal storage piece in a quirky bedroom design and it would work equally well in a Gentlemans Outfitters Shop
The Wardrobe is 84” high, 38” wide and 23” deep
