Mahogany Kidney Shaped Dressing Table
A mahogany inlaid dressing table the shield shaped dressing mirror with inlaid super structure. The kidney shaped dressing table with a central drawer flanked by two further drawers on either side all having brass cut knobs raised up on square tapering legs with brass terminals and casters stamped Maple & Co Paris
Maple and Co. Paris
were well known as makers and retailers of antique furniture and furnishings in the nineteenth and early twentieth century. They are recorded as having a workshop in Paris at Rue Boudreau from circa 1880 until 1905 supplying their retail premises in London based at Tottenham Court Road.
