Antique large Edwardian Maple and Co mahogany marble washstand or dressing table of the highest quality. Magnificent inlays. The best that you will find anywhere.
A quality washstand, that is full of age, charm and character...no woodworm. Great Art Nouveau tiles. Original bevel edge mirror with just a light speckle of oxidation, nothing bad (just what you would want to see).
Marble top and ornate tiled splashback. Mahogany lined drawers slide freely.
Wonderful colour and proportions.
Splits into 3 parts for transport.
Solid with no loose joints.
Period brass castors.
Would look great in the right location!
Overall maximum dimensions 138cmW x 60cmD x 76.5cmH (plus 101cmH tiled upstand).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. There is a hairline crack on one tile (hard to spot).
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
