A beautful quality, hand made Maple & Co burr walnut twin pedestal desk, circa 1900, having three drawers to each pedestal and three drawers to the top. The top has a brown leather insert to the centre with blind tooling relief around the circumference. The drawers have walnut feather banding and the top has walnut cross banding. It has swan necked brass handles with brass pierced back plates. All drawers have Maple & Co original locks (although sadly no keys) and there is a Maple & Co label in the middle drawer. A desk with fantastic style, superb workmanship and good proportions. (Our Ref. S410)
