Handsome mid 19th.c. French marble top centre table or gueridon c.1860. Original 38½” diameter pale grey marble top with pronounced figuring and a moulded edge of concentric rings designed to prevent spilt drinks from running off the sides. Mahogany veneered apron, hexagonal pedestal and shaped tripod base with carved half roundels. Raised on spendid carved claw feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
