Very smart early 20th.c. French marble top chest of drawers c.1910. Well figured marble top with thumb moulded edges over four oak lined drawers. Serpentine front and sides with conrasting mahogany parquetry work veneers laid to create a symmetrical pattern. Cushion drawer fronts with crossbanded edges and original brass handles and escutcheon plates. Inlaid brass fluting to the sides and between the drawers, pierced brass mounts to the front feet and apron. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
