A late 19th century Bohemian green glass jug with enamel decoration including colour.

The jug has a beautiful twisted clear glass handle, ribbing to the lower body a ground pontil mark and the enamel decoration is of a young girl releasing doves.

Glass with this type of enameling is usually described as 'Mary Gregory' after the American glass.

The jug is in good original condition. (Circa 1880)
