This item is an unusual mixed media painting by the Parisian artist MAZOY, who has signed the painting in the lower left hand corner and dated it 2005. The painting depicts and three quarters back view of a nude woman, with her hands brushing her hair back from the nape of her neck. The painting has been executed on handmade textured paper and acrylics, highlighted in gold.

The painting was purchased in the Place du Tertre, Montmartre in 2005, direct from the artist and was one of a pair. Details of the artist's training, national and international exhibitions and examples of his current work may be found at his website by putting mazoy artist into google. It would appear that his style has become more abstract.

The painting is mounted and framed in a 1 7/8" brushed gilt frame. It is ready to hang.
