An amusing Meissen porcelain figural group of three putti getting up to mischief as one is being held over a rock covered with ears of wheat and cornflowers as the others are attempting to smack his bottom as he reaches back to try to shield himself. Set on a simple rocky base with more finely modelled sheaves of wheat scattered about and one of the standing putti holding a bundle under his arm. Possibly representing Summer in a series of the Seasons. Crossed swords mark and incised marks, c.1860-1880.

It measures 14.2cm (5 5/8") high and 12.2cm (5 3/8") by 7cm (2 3/4") wide.

In excellent condition with no damage, repair or restoration bar some very minor chips to the tips of some of the ears of wheat Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
