Mid-Century 9ct Yellow Gold Tiepin, A.J.H, 1950

This is a very stylish Mid-Century 9ct Yellow Gold Tiepin. The tiepin has engine turned decoration across the whole of the front and a simple but secure pin at the back. It comes supplied in a modern gift box.
The tiepin is made in Birmingham by jewellers A.J.H. and dates to 1950. There isn't a huge amount of information available about A.J.H but he/they were in business from the late 1940s to at least the late 1970s.
Condition is very good with no dings or dents. The pin at the back fastens securely and the engine turned decoration looks as smart as it did back in the 1950s. Please make sure to view all the photographs.
The tiepin is 3.8cm across and weighs in at 1.6g of solid 9ct gold.
The hallmarks on the underside of the bar are well struck and clear to read. They show the 9 and .375 stamps for 9ct gold, the anchor assay mark for Birmingham, the date letter A for 1950 and the A.J.H makers' mark.
Shipping in the UK is £6 by Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For Parcel Post.
Overseas customers, please ask us about shipping costs to your country before making a purchase.
