Mid-size Art Deco Marvin wrist watch
Mid-size Art Deco Marvin wrist watch.
The watch has a 15-jewel, 3 adjustments, hand-winding movement, signed Marvin, which is working nicely.
The watch measures 21.5mm wide excluding the winding crown and 31mm high excluding the lugs so it would suit a man with a slimmer wrist, or would work as a lady's watch. The case is chrome plated and has a stainless steel case back, signed Marvin inside. The shaped lugs are a particularly charming feature of this watch. The case has light surface marks but overall is in good condition for an Art Deco piece.
The watch has its original curved lens, there is a 6mm scratch and four of five small marks but they are not too detrimental at all so we have retained this original lens.
The signed dial is in its original finish. It has stylish numbers and a rectangular Art Deco subsidiary seconds dial with an unusually deep sunken centre. There is some age related marking to the dial.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
