A good example of a Mid-Victorian mahogany Cheval Mirror. The thick cut Flame Mahogany veneer that surrounds the original mirror glass is supported by 2 decorative fluted columns that stand on deep supportive scroll feet.
Dating to 1840-1860 this original bedroom piece has had some restoration to the right hand column but it has been restored sympathetically at some point in its history.
A nice elegant piece that will set off any dressing room, bedroom or even in a dress or gentleman clothes shop.
