Mid 19th Century Coromandel Brass Bound Tea Caddy

A fabulous mid 19th century (1860) coromandel and brass bound tea caddy. In totally untouched condition. Coromandel is one of the rarest exotic woods used in the 19th century and most beautiful. The box is fully brass bound with domed lidded compartments inside marked with gilded brass signs for green tea and black tea. Excellent colour and patina. Retailed by Charles Henry King Street Manchester. A very high quality caddy. 8.75" wide x 4.25" deep x 6.25" high.
