A good example of the popular form of country chair. In yew wood and elm and raised on turned baluster legs with a crinoline stretcher. In good condition and of good colour and patina. 1070mm high, 620mm wide, 610mm deep and 440mm seat height. Circa 1850. W J Gravener Antiques is a family owned business, started in 1963 by William who was joined by son, Mark in 1981 and continues today with the same ethos of dealing in fine quality English and Continental furniture, mirrors and decorative objects, from the 18th & 19th centuries.
