Handsome mid 19th.c. mahogany writing or sofa table c.1860. Tooled scarlet leather writing surface set within a broad crossbanded flame mahogany border over two hardwood lined drawers. On exceptional shaped and pierced ends with carved droppers, joined with a turned stretcher and raised on the original brass castors. Identical design to front and rear, the rear having dummy drawer fronts (minus key holes). Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
