Model 20/59 drop leaf gate leg dining table in solid teak and brass designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Molgaard-Nielsen in 1955. Built in Denmark by France and Daverkosen. This example retains its F&D stamp putting production in the mid 1950’s by France and Daverkosen later they became France and Son in 1957. the table has great patina and colour due to the old growth teak. Expertly restored and in excellent condition.

Interestingly the table has been made in inches, due to the maker being English and learning cabinetmaking in England before moving to Denmark
