Mid Century Ercol Writing Bureau / Cocktail Cabinet
A Mid Century Ercol Windsor writing bureau or cocktail cabinet made of solid elm with good configuration, having a pull-down door that becomes a writing desk. Double cupboard below that has storage space with adjustable shelf, single drawer and stands on its original castors which allows it to move around quite smoothly. Blue label present which dates it between 1954-1976.
In good condition, nice elm configuration, no breaks or repairs, wear commensurate with age.

Knee height 76cm. Our stock items are carefully selected by myself and I only buy good quality items which may need small repairs, a clean and a polish. I don't buy any items that need major restoration, but any loose joints are re-glued. Occasionally, some items may have small amounts of historic extinct woodworm, never enough to affect the integrity of the item, and is always treated as a matter of course. We try to describe and show our items the best we can, and we use studio lighting which sometimes lightens the colour slightly on some of the furniture. All lamps are rewired and PAT tested. Every item we sell we would have in our home (some of them have been!!) It is impossible to describe every item fully, so please feel free to email or call for more information or any queries you may have. The items will have no major defects but will show signs of normal age related wear and use. I would prefer the items to show its life rather than strip it and re-polish it, as it's only original once!
