An attractive pair of easy chairs. We date these chairs to the 1960/70s.

The chairs have a wooden frame and are upholstered in a brown checked fabric. The chairs have spindle backrests and a sprung base. The back cushions are buttoned and both seat and back cushions are reversible.

The chairs have a height of 31.5" (80cm), an overall width of 27" (69cm), an overall depth of 31" (79cm), a backrest cushion height of 19" (49cm), a seat height of 14" (36cm), a seat width of 20.5" (52cm) (between the armrests) and a seat depth 19" (49cm).

These attractive chairs remain in a very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There is some wear to the frames, primarily to the arms and one back spindle has been replaced at some time in the past. One back cushion has had a button replaced with a normal brown button, the seat cushions have a bit of wear and catches with one seat cushion having a couple of holes to one side.

This remains a very stylish and elegant pair of chairs. They will continue to provide rest and relaxation for many years to come.
