This chest of drawers is quite a favourite of ours purely because its not perfect, it’s definitely lived a life with all its history on show.

There are old repairs, small missing parts and ring marks but these are all now what makes this chest interesting. At least 250 years old it’s not surprising its presenting evidence of continuous use.

Two over three arrangement of drawers with brass swan neck handles. Delightful rich colour to the polished mahogany with the whole standing on bracket feet.

For all the evidence of its previous working life this chest is strong and sturdy and ready for immediate use.
