Military Camphor Wood Travelling Trunk
A mid - late 19thc military camphor wood travelling trunk of good patina (colour).
The camphor wood is well figured and has taken on a lovely golden tone.
The trunk has brass trim, a recessed handle, carrying handles, escutcheon and also a plain brass plate to the top.
The interior has a candle box & a drawer underneath this.
This is an ideal piece to use as a coffee table or maybe at the end of a bed or for general storage.
Being camphor wood, it will keep moths at bay, so is ideal for storing clothing & it also has a lovely aroma when opened.
