Monumental Regency Antique Apothecary Chest.
A seriously large flight of antique mahogany apocathery drawers!
Originally from a chemist/pharmacy in Northumberland in North East England, this huge sixty drawer antique apothecary chest, sometimes referred to as drug runs, dates from around 1820.
An unsual feature, that is seldom seen on antique mahogany chemist chests, are some of the handles.
They are all original, but not in turned wood, instead these handles are solid turned horn on the smaller drawers.
Standing on mahogany bracket feet, this is a stunning flight of Regency antique chemists drawers, with a thick oak top.
