A must have book for every household in the late 1800's to early 1900's...
Lots of recipes with some coloured illustrations, what is expected of the mistress of the houe, the cook and the kitchen. Also marketing information os 1912, prices of wine, fresh produce etc.
And it doesn't stop there either, there are chapters on table decoration, serviettes, menu making,domestic servants and their duties, the Doctor, the Nurse, the Nursery, homeopathic medicine and also legal memoranda.
It's a rather thick book.
Condition...
Red leather spine with green garboard cover which are in good condition cosidering it's age and use.
Some slight foxing to the pages. Some rubbing to the leather at the top of the spine.
Shows little signs of actual use.

RETURNS...
We will gladly accept returns within 14 days of delivery if the item is not as described or broken in transit.
