We have for sale a very lovely and simply decorated Nantgarw dinner plate from the Lady Seaton dinner service c1815.

This very elegant Nantgarw moulded dinner plate is minimally decorated with a discretely gilded rim surrounding 3 large and 4 small sprays of flowers painted in blue. The plate was London decorated but the minimalist decoration really shows off the porcelain. The base of the plate is marked with the impressed Nantgarw C. W Mark.

The plate is 10 inches (25.4cm) in diameter and is in a very good to excellent condition with negligible wear to the gilded rim.

This Nantgarw dinner plate is currently being exhibited as part of the selling exhibition of rare Derby, Pinxton, Nantgarw and Swansea porcelain "A journey with William Billingsley" 2016, ISBN: 9783741809903
