Early 19th.c. oak and mahogany chest of drawers c.1820. Solid oak top with applied moulded edge over two short drawers and three long drawers of graduated depth. A smart looking chest with a crossbanded mahogany veneered frieze above the drawers, solid oak drawer fronts with mahogany crossbanding, satinwood stringing and inlaid shield shaped escutcheons. Original turned knobs and bracket feet. Some old marks to the top, otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
