Oak Arts & Crafts students Bureau Desk Oak arts crafts students %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A fantastic piece of Edwardian, Arts & Crafts, solid oak antique furniture. This bureau has a large, glazed, double door section to top, with two internal adjustable shelves. The centre section has a drop down writing slope, with a fitted interior, and the lower section has a double door cupboard featuring a single internal shelf. This piece is made from solid oak, including all back boards, and is commonly known as a ‘student’s bureau’. This item is in excellent condition for its age, which we believe to be circa 1905. It still retains keys for all of the sections, and is in a lovely warm mellow oak colour. As you will appreciate, this bureau bookcase will have some signs of wear and tear apparent, but this does not detract from the overall beauty of this stunning piece of furniture.
